It’s 2024 and I’m starting a new blog… why? Well for several reasons if I’m honest. The first being bogged down by all the social media pages like instagram. x. Facebook, tumblr, bluesky blah blah blah…I wanted to go back to the old days where I would post on my old Wordpress account and discover artists but actively looking for them. I miss the days of finding awesome manga artists from Japan and stumbling across their own blogs where they would post wips and I would get excited to check and see if anyone had posted. I miss those times, also I am tired of the constant AI art dumps that seem to litter SNS.
I am grateful for everyone who has followed me on sns and I will continue to post there too however I want to have a place where I don’t focus on followers and dumb algorithms. I was recently listening to the amazing inkpulp podcast and they were talking about the future of SNS and it hit just right it inspired me to pull the trigger and make a new blog.
That said, I will do my best to post here regularly.
